SMP GmbH is a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory with a comprehensive range of services relating to cleaning, disinfection and sterilization processes. We support manufacturers of medical devices with the introduction of new products as well as with regular testing of products and devices in hospitals and medical practices.

Here are the tasks you can expect
- Planning and conducting disinfection tests and validating sterilization processes
- Documenting all testing procedures
- Conducting standardized microbiological tests in our state-of-the-art S2 laboratories
- Ensuring compliance with current standards and regulatory requirements throughout all testing processes.
- Contributing to the continuous development of testing methods and laboratory processes
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating quality assurance measures
- Supporting the further development of validation methods
- General laboratory tasks and experiment preparation

These are our requirements for you
- Education in the life sciences field, e.g., as a medical laboratory technician (MTA), biological laboratory technician (BTA), microbiologist, biologist, or medical assistant (MFA), dental assistant (ZMFA), or clinical technician (CTA) with professional experience in a microbiological S2 laboratory
- Knowledge of analytical and microbiological laboratory work
- Good computer skills
- Strong sense of responsibility when performing tasks
- High flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently within a structured work environment
- Knowledge of spectroscopic methods and equipment is desirable
