New logo for SMP – modernized, clear and recognizable

Tübingen, August 1, 2025. – SMP has further developed the central visual element of its brand identity. The previous logo has been modernized and simplified: the lettering now appears in a straight form with slightly more space between the letters. In addition two corners are added as a visual framing element. Combined with the characteristic SMP red, this creates a striking modern look with strong recognition value.

The visual bracket around the clear lettering stands for excellence, precision, and focus on the essentials. These are values that have shaped SMP in the industry for years.
The previous logo had been an integral part oft the company's communication for a long time. With the new design, SMP aims to reflect both its grown market position and its commitment to modernity and digital applicability. The clear design ensures better scalability and a strong presence, especially in digital channels and applications.
The official start date for the logo transition is August 1, 2025. The adjustment to digital touchpoints will take place immediately, while the changeover to print media, presentation materials, and building signage will be carried out gradually.
