SMP GmbH is a testing laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 that offers a comprehensive range of services related to cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes. We support medical device manufacturers in launching new products as well as in conducting regular testing of products and equipment in everyday hospital and clinic settings.

To strengthen our team at our Tübingen location, we are looking for a technically skilled employee (m/f/d) on a mini-job or part-time basis.

Do you have a strong technical understanding and enjoy working in a hands-on yet structured manner? Can you maintain a clear overview even when juggling multiple tasks, and do you enjoy familiarizing yourself with technical equipment, measuring instruments, and procedures?   • Work Location: Tübingen.
  • Work schedule: Mini-job / part-time, by agreement
  • Start date: Available immediately.

Here are the tasks you can expect

  • General technical and organizational support for the team
  • Assistance with the inspection, calibration, and management of measuring and testing equipment
  • Preparing, organizing, and carrying out the transport of technical equipment and laboratory measuring instruments
  • Coordinating and tracking calibration and testing schedules
  • Maintaining test equipment and instrument data in our internal databases
  • Assistance with setting up and customizing measurement and test programs
  • Assisting employees with questions regarding technical equipment, test equipment, and measurement programs
  • Assisting with logistics, warehousing, and materials processes
  • Supervising and coordinating technicians and external service providers in collaboration with technical management

Here are our requirements for you

  • General technical and organizational support for the team
  • Technical understanding and an interest in technical equipment and measurement technology
  • Ideally, technical training or practical experience in a technical field—however, what matters most to us are technical aptitude and a reliable work ethic
  • You work in a structured, careful, and independent manner
  • You’re well-organized and can keep track of multiple tasks at once
  • You have a strong sense of order and responsibility
  • Proficiency with computers and standard MS Office applications
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technical topics and internal processes
  • You understand that in a regulated environment such as medical technology, thorough
  • documentation and adherence to defined processes are particularly important
  • Ability to work well in a team, reliability, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach
