Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

SMP GmbH is an accredited testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, offering comprehensive services related to cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes. We support medical device manufacturers in launching new products, as well as conducting regular testing of products and equipment in everyday hospital and clinic settings.

We are looking for you to join our team as a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to validate medical device cleaning processes. You can expect exciting challenges, the opportunity to contribute your ideas, and the chance to help shape the future of our company.

Here are the tasks you can expect:

• Project management in the area of testing and validating the cleanability of medical devices and the cleaning performance of reprocessing equipment
• Hygiene testing using radionuclide and protein detection methods (OPA/BCA and hemoglobin)
• Documentation and evaluation of test results
• Preparation of protocols and reports
• Opportunity for professional development and collaboration in other areas of the company

Here are the requirements we have for you:

• Training in the life sciences field (e.g., as an MTA, MFA, CTA, UTA, or BTA) or comparable professional experience
• Knowledge of medical instruments and devices, as well as experience in analytical laboratory work
• Good computer skills
• A strong sense of responsibility when carrying out tasks
• Ability to work independently within a structured work environment
• Knowledge of spectroscopic methods and equipment is desirable
